Our Story

ENJOIE grew from a period of reinvention — but its roots go back much further.

Kris grew up around construction and development in Belgium before spending more than two decades in international investment banking, corporate finance and real estate. Marina's path was different: fashion, set design, television and the creative industries, first in Europe and later in Los Angeles.

Over the years, property became the place where those worlds came together.

It began with projects of our own. A historic castle outside Antwerp was given a new life through a substantial redevelopment. An Antwerp home followed. Then came a 200-year-old farmhouse in the French Alps — a place we restored slowly, preserving what generations had left behind while adapting it to the way we wanted to live.

Somewhere along the way, these stopped feeling like individual projects and became a philosophy.

We believe the best homes aren't created from a blank sheet. They already have something worth keeping — history, proportion, materials, imperfections, a sense of place. Our role is to understand what belongs, rethink what doesn't, and bring the two together through good construction, natural materials and real craftsmanship.

Kris brings the discipline of an owner, developer and licensed California builder. Marina brings the creative eye — materials, objects, atmosphere and a network of craftspeople and makers gathered over years between Europe and California.

Together, we created ENJOIE.

The name carries the idea at the heart of what we do: joie de vivre — the pleasure of living well. Because ultimately, we don't create homes simply to be looked at. We create places to cook, gather, retreat, entertain, work, argue, celebrate and live.

We create the place. People create the memories.

What began with our own properties is now what we bring to others.
